The Tidal Series comprises three limited edition artworks with shiny metal finish clock-hands against a deep blue artwork body. The series is evocative of sunlight reflecting on the surface of water, while the cyclical and cumulative patterns shown by the clock-hands are themselves wave-like, a constant ebb and flow between reporting the time each minute.

The choreographies shown are inspired by and draw upon natural, artistic and mathematical pattern formations. In the Tidal series, this combination of materials and choreographies becomes an intersection of the artists’ interest in the phenomena of order in nature and the patterns that exist within many aspects of design and technology.
