Reimagining History Series (2011-2015)
In this history series, I explore construction of disparate narratives and clashes between these constructions as they come together in "the real world".
This evokes feelings of alienation, juxtaposition, and original significance to create parallels between cartoons and the flattened schizophrenic subjectivities in these paintings. My characters are layered memes and archetypes from art history and popular culture.
